Schedule Discrepancy

Fri Jul 25, 2003 3:10 am

Just a fun little note. I was doing research for another thread last week regarding the 737-200. I have noticed DL flying them into SDF on some flights now. When I looked at the PC-based version of their schedule I could see 2 daily flights OUT of SDF to ATL, but only one inbound flight which is from CVG.

I wondered where the discrepancy was so I finally went to the DL web site and found that there is an inbound flight from ATL on the 737-200 as well. On the PC-based version of their schedule is shows as an MD-88.

The flight # is 2058 and I have sent an E-mail to DL for clarification.

I have heard of wrong fares being published but this is the 1st time I've seen a mistake published in the PC-based schedule of a carrier.

Cheers,
John

Well done, John! In fact, the flying public doesn't really care on what aircraft they're travelling. Most of the passengers can't even tell the difference of an MD-80 and a B737.

I wonder if you ever get a reply from DL...
