Jetsgo Includes AIF In Taxes, Do They Deliver?

Sun Jul 27, 2003 5:15 pm

I was looking for a possible booking with Jetsgo this week and found out that they charge the AIF (airport improvement fee) with the other taxes when you book online. I have flown with Jetsgo last year and can't remember if this was charged to me or not when I had booked online. In any case, I paid the fees at the airport in Montreal: 15$ and then in Vancouver: 10$ and I am now starting to wonder if I got ripped off or simply Jetsgo didn't include the fees in their taxes back then.

If they charge you for it, they should give you a ticket or something showing that you did pay the AIF... can someone who is familiar with Jetsgo give me any additional info, it would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Steven, since a few months now, out of Montreal, AIF is always included in the price of the tickets. This applies to all airlines flying out of YUL.

YUL now includes AIF in the tickets.

YVR still requires that you pay at the airport.
