Schedule For WN Chat?

Mon Jul 28, 2003 10:58 am

Okay

GoingBoeing, sccutler, LoneStarMike, and anyone else who is interested.

It would be nice if we could schedule a certain time to gather in the chat room here and discuss the goings-on at one of our favorite air carriers.

One evening a week would probably do.

Let me know what time is good for you guys, in the event you are interested. I was thinking maybe Wednesday about 8 pm Central time. However, I will be out of town this week and I can be pretty flexible.

Thoughts?

This week wouldn't work too well for me (closing tomorrow; moving later in the week), but on any other week, sure!

I'm pretty flexible, but the week of 8-9 is out...I'll be in Florida (flying WN to MSY to save some $$$) for the week.

This sounds agonizingly geeky...

...so, count me in!

Wednesdays are as good as it's gonna get, 20:00 local (CDT) is ok too. Tues and Thurs are frequently scheduled meeting nights for "bidness."

Only question is, keeping this short little span of attention focused long enough to remember to join in.

Set it up...
...three miles from BRONS, clear for the ILS one five approach...

I'm game too. Wednesdays at 8pm CT sounds good to me as well. I attend a municipal meeting on the second Wednesday of each month, but the others should be open for me on a regular basis.

Well, since WebTV doesn't support java, most chat rooms (including airliner.net's) are inaccessible to me.  Sad

Okay, Gang, right now it looks like we will give this a try on Wednesday 6 Aug, 2000 hrs CDT (or 8:00 o'clock PM at night, if you prefer).

I will try to think of some salient topics, including:

Which airline was better....Trans-Texas or Pioneer?

The real deal behind 10 minute turns.

Lamar's book.

Executives drving AMC Gremlins as company cars.

and in the spirit of some of the posts here......

"Why Southwest doesn't add Ford trimotors to the fleet"
