Finally, I Flew The 717!

Mon Jul 28, 2003 11:41 am

About 1/2 an hour into my Air Tran flight from DAY to ATL, I realized, I have now flown every family of Boeing Passanger Aircraft. The tally goes something like this:

720: Air Malta
707: Air Malta
717: Air Tran
727: UA,DL,CO
737: all series except 600 and 900 (KM,KL,AA,CO,US,SW)
747: all series except SP (KL,BA,PA,TW,VS,AZ)
757: both 200 and 300 (AA,CO,BA,TZ,US)
767: not the 400 yet, 200 and 300 (DL,AA,UA)
777: not the 300 yet (BA and DL)

I am sure I am not the only one... anyone else want to share? and when the 7E7 come out?

"I have now flown every family of Boeing Passanger Aircraft."

I note that the 247, 307 and 377 are absent from your list.  Innocent

I've down 737, 757, 767, 777, MD-80, DC-9, DC-10. Everything but the 717, 747, and 727, which may never happen now!  Sad

I am still in my early years of flying...I have a ways to go yet:

Boeing:
717-200 AirTran
727-200 Delta, NWA
757-200, -300 NWA, AA
767-300 Delta

MCD-
MD80- AA, Delta
DC10- Sun Country

I think I got most of them covered. I am trying to get on a 732 before the summer is over. But I'll take anything I can get!

Sheesh! I'll be happy when I get to try out the 757-200 next week!

Glad you liked the plane. I enjoyed my rides in them when I was with AirTran.

Does anyone here know for sure they've flown in DC-9-10/20/30/40/50 and MD-81/82/83/87/88/and -90? Or 737-100/200/300/400/500/600/700/800/and -900?

Cheers!
