Oui, all AF 744 have GE engines. AF favours GE over PW and RR. However, half of their 767 fleet does have PW and their remaining 747-100. Yet all other fleets carry GE on their wings. And when they can't buy GE straighout (for example, their Airbus and 737 fleets) they buy CFM, a joint co-operation between GE and SNECMA (a french company specializing in airplane engines, and yes I know that CFM is the only option on the 737). I'm pretty sure that similarities are the main reason for buying a standardized fleet of engines, and in CFM's cases for nationalistic reasons (much like BA buying RR and IAE, a company helping out another company of the same country, but in BA's case they started buying RR before they were privatized, and they stuck with them). Au Revoir!

All of Air France's 747s except the 747-100s are GE powered. The majority of their aircraft are all powered by GE engines or CFM International.
