PIA Selling Off Roosevelt Hotel In New York

Fri Aug 01, 2003 10:56 pm

PIA are disbanding their investments division which led them to purchae and run three hotels abroad as well as start other ventures at home such as the flopped 'PIA Shaver Chickens' imagine an airline running a poultry farm, I guess it was mainly for the flight kitchen, anyways the refusbished Rossevelt Hotel in New York City is up for sale, tenders foe it were opened on teh 28th of July, the airlines two other hotels in Paris and Abu Dhabi I think were sold off in the mid 90's.

So the Roosevelt is up for sale? Like a Hilton or similar hotel company could buy it? I'm curious beacuse I visit that hotel frequently in NYC.

It's a pretty nice hotel. The thing is, you have to ask for a large room when you check in beacuse there are a lot of small rooms. The reason why i go there is beacuse of the low rates.
