Saudi TriStar Fleet

What's the history of Saudi's L1011 fleet? How many remain? What routes do they operate? Any plans of retirement? Thanks.

They stopped flying scheduled services some time ago- however, there's a royal family Tristar 500 on the ground at LAX now- must be a shopping trip!

Most of them used by SV are stored at an Airport somewhere in Saudi Arabia (not, JED, RUH or DMM)

None of the Tristars in the SV livery are regular passenger planes....they are all part of the VIP fleet for the Royal family.
