I used to work on the ramp in LAX
and in 1989-1990, we had A300 service LAX
. Believe me, we had bags all over the place around the Christmas Holiday travel season. :-(
uses a 767 on the route, it would be for the freight capacity, I would think. The 763 is configured 30/182, and for a total of 212 seats, where the 752 (after MRTC is gone) will be 22/166 for a total of 188. Not a huge difference in pax load available, so it must be the freight driving this a/c choice.
