Well to be honest I have actually already flone UA
...but only on domestic flights between LAX IAD SLC
making my way back and forth across the USA earlier in the year, and it quickly became my favourite US carrier.
(sorry, SAS gets my all time favourite....they've just got style!)
You actually sound quite like an FA
that served me earlier this year, LAX
? (boeing 757 , think it left about 1 or 2 pm) Anyway, i figured that UA
would be better on the international front than American.... and I decided that I am not big on "the deltaflot". I went into shock when I asked for tea on a LAX
flight and they gave me a cup of hot water and tea bag..... I was new to america...i didn't realise that was the done thing there, and my friend i was traveling with that day (who was a QF
vet) just about had a fit. I only discovered it when i went to a seminar at Stein Eriksen Lodge up a deer valley, part of which concerned customer service, and i gave the "deltaflot"'s tea service as an example of bad service and the room burst into laughter.
back to my point....UA
proved better domestically so i guessed international would be the same.
So...as for the Alcohol flowing freely...well I told you all that im a German Australian...and to make matters worse there is a bit of scandinavian in there so im bound to be an alcoholic on all fronts. I'll behave! I promise!
Thanks for the flight info...If i do take UAL...(i will if i can get a seat!) are they normally ontime? Bloody Air NZ
is always late transpacific...I don't want to be sitting in Hell (that would be LAX
) on the standby list! And as far as my decision to support UAL because its in trouble....well the WHOLE of AUSTLALIA will be introuble if QF
end up the only carrier across the pacific!!!!!!
SO all u UAL ppl out there.... GOOD LUCK and I'll be seeing u soon... Look out for the scandinavian looking blonde, who will no doubt will be in an alcohol induced happy state!
