I had a little time to kill today...usually I like to look on the web for cheap fares to places I plan to visit in the near future. Just for fun, I played around with Delta's website to try to get the most expensive ticket for a nonstop flight. The best I could do was an unrestricted ticket (leaving today) on ATL
on an MD11, one leg first, one leg coach (I guess first was full) for "$10,000.84" They really need that extra .84, don't you know!
Does anyone really pay that for a ticket?!?
The only rule for this contest is that the flight must be an online bookable, nonstop, rountrip flight between any two cities in the world. I'm sure some of you have run across higher fares in your flying lifetimes.
