Northwest Airlines To Thailand

Sun Aug 10, 2003 12:33 am

I was hoping someone could help me out..

I'm planning a trip to Thailand on NWA from the States. What cities do flights depart from? Are they direct? Where do they stop? What type of aircraft do they use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

NW has a daily service from NRT to BKK on a 747-400 (flight 1, actually). You would have to connect in NRT first.

All NW flights to BKK are via NRT. So you can practically fly from any NW gateway in the U.S. to NRT and connect to BKK. Are you from YVR? I used to drive to SEA and catch the NW flight to NRT to HKG or MNL or BKK. I think they are having a seat sale for the Fall right now. Hurry up and check their website!

Best way is on UNITED AIRLINES....SEA-NRT-BKK. Uses 772. Flight 875 going, 876 coming back. Leaves SEA at about 1pm, and arrives at about 8am.
And the winner for best actress is....REESE WITHERSPOON for 'Walk the Line'!!!!!!!!

Actually, both UA and NW should do you fine to BKK. It doesn't look like you'll be able to avoid the NRT stopover however. That would be your most direct route there.
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Yeh lets not get in a UA vs NW argument here. They're both alright.

I was just in Thailand last month. I went on an Air Canada 747-400 YVR-Nrt and then connected on an ANA 747-400 to BKK

I came back on a UAL 772 BKK-NRT and then on AC again back to YVR

Im guessing you are wanting NW because of frequent flyer miles or something, but I would check out the other airlines and compare prices.

Thanks for your replies, guys.

Speedbirdyvr, yea I am from YVR. The reason I say Northwest is because I'll be flying on a discount.  Smile
