And one more piece of news from the same source (FI). Royal Jordanian plans to replace 3 of its 6 A310-300s and all 5 of its A320s due to aircraft age and standardisation policies.
Being considered are 10 A320/A321s or B737-800s. A decision is expected in 2 months and deliveries will begin in 2005.
This was already planned last year but postponed due to the war in Iraq.
So another middle-eastern order this year. Considering the company currently operates A320s, recently introduced A340-200s and will keep some A310s, I presume Airbus is in with a decent chance but stranger things have happened.
