LH Considering MUC-PIT/CLT

Tue Aug 12, 2003 10:20 pm

With the new US Airways marketing agreement coming on line this Fall, Lufthansa is considering flying from it's Munich hub to either PIT, CLT, or MCO. I wonder why PHL isn't being considered as a prospective city from MUC. Which one do you think they'll go with. I would've said hands down CLT because of the larger feed, but there's a huge German population in PIT and there are 1 or two companies that subsidize the PIT-FRA route which is one of the big money-makers for US. What does everyone think? Service is scheduled to begin in March of 2004.
