What plane do you REALLY want to fl

Mon Dec 28, 1998 11:04 pm

Let's suppose you only have but one more flight you can take, what will be the plane that you will choose to fly?

My choice will be a Concorde flight between JFK and LHR.

If I only had one more flight I could take, I probably wouldn't take it because how would I get back home from where ever it is that I would go to, since I already used up my one last flight going there.

I would like to go on a JP233 bombing attack in a RAF Tornado IDS. That would a sweet ride, and I would land where I tookoff, hopefully!

I would want to fly a ultralight from LAX to LHR that is about as slow is it goes so a lot of time to play around in the sky. Or I would flly on a Virgin Atlantic 747 same route.

In fact, a chartered Concorde flight around the world, starting from Auckland, via Sydney, Singapore, HK, Bombay, Cario, London, JFK and LAX, on Dec. 31st, 1999, will beat my original choice. I will buy the drinks!

Boeing 777-200IGW (I will need the extra fuel capacity since my flight will be from LAX to Sydney. I've always wanted to snorkle in the Great Barrier Reef)

So it seems like everyone would want to be on a long flight in a jumbo or military mission.

I would steal a Cessna Citation X and set some speed and time-to-climb records. Or, I might take the Concorde just to go supersonic.

I think I have changed my mind. I would take the "Ultimate" flight. A back seater in an SR-71 over russia during the 1980s.
