It is operated by Mesa Airlines? If so, then it operates Mesa's services from Dallas to small towns in Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. All of the routes are EAS.

Well, I suppose it is taxiing either to the gate, or it is taxiing for takeoff judging by the spinning propellers  Smile

Mesa flies into DFW from cities such as Ponca City and Enid in Oklahoma. I think they also might fly from Roswell in New Mexico over to DFW. They basically replaced Big Sky when they left the DFW market.

I thought all of US Airways Express's operations were Air Midwest...but I guess that is owned by Mesa right?

Are they just exchanging this 1900 between fleets?

I admit to being way out of the loop for the past few years, but I'd say it's taxiing. Wait, that's not what I meant. To the best of my knowledge, Air Midwest is still owned by Mesa Air Group.

Mesa operating for Air Midwest in U.S Airways Express colors. Very common sight in DFW. You see both the express schemes of US (USAir Express/USAirways Express), as well as the Mesa scheme.
I've flown on 9V-SPK.

Air Redneck...errr....Air Midwest (Mesa Airlines) flies to EAS metropolises like Ponca City, Brownwood, Enid, Hot Springs, and other thriving cities (Jay, they do not fly to ROW). BigSky's DFW and DEN (previously operated by Metro III) routes were bought by Mesa, and some of the B1900s that were brought in by Mesa to replace the Metros have yet to be repainted in full Mesa colors. Instead, we get to be treated to all sorts of USAirways, USAir, and interim liveries. Not a bad deal.

But Fritzi, it is a jet. You just are able to see the fan in front.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Not a lot of difference really.
