Whats Your Favorite Part Of An A/c?

Wed Aug 20, 2003 10:29 am

For some reason my favorite part of an a/c is the landing gear. I have no idea why, but I love looking at the landing gear on a/c. When I'm working around an a/c I usually always take a wander round the landing gear and have a little look. I love it when they have the gear doors open too on the ground so I can see up into the wheel wells with all the various pipes and cables etc.

I also like 'T' tails too, but not as much as the landing gear.......

So what's your favorite part of an a/c ?.

The wing I just love to see them flex and love to see them grow as you apply flaps and leading edges. Especially love the wing of the 744,777,767 and A340/330 all has tons of visible flex!

I agree with ATA L1011...it's so great to see the wings of big aircraft, like the B747400, A330, A340, or B777 bend upwards and flex as the aircraft lifts off into to abyss.

Caution wake turbulence, you are following a heavy jet.

The best part is definitely the flight deck! Who can resist the complexity and sophistication of avionics and instrumentation? It's ALL about the office.
