The Air Canada with the bomb threat was a DC9 going from Newark to Toronto (Flight 737). I heard that the passenger had already boarded the plane along with all the other passengers, and that the plane was just getting ready to be pushed back when he made some remarks that he had a bomb in his bag.
Here's another one to add:
About two or three weeks ago, a Canadian Airbus 320 had to make an emergency landing in North Bay on a flight from Halifax to Calgary after the pilots reported smoke in the cockpit. This was days after another Canadian Airbus 320 (possibly the same aircraft??) had to make an emergency landing (also in North Bay) on a flight from Calgary to Halifax! So Y2K has struck early!!!!!
Yes, I have decided to stay home over the holidays!
