TMA Starts TOL, RFD

Fri Aug 29, 2003 6:04 am

Today marked the first day of service from Toledo and Rockford. Expanded service from SYR and SFB also begun today. Toledo's initial flight to SFB left a couple minutes late with 141 passengers on board. The first flight to Vegas starts tomorrow and currently has around 160 booked on it. Load factors through the end of September have LAS closing on 70% with SFB down around 40% (thanks to it being the off peak season).

All in all...a lot of media exposure today and a lot of neat pictures taken. This the first flight arriving last night around 5pm. It would be on Airliners but it seems one of the screeners said it was too far away.
