Fleet Inventories

Sat Aug 30, 2003 11:05 am

I would love to know some websites that list the various airline fleets, both past and present. I'm sure there is a website that lists current fleets, but are there any that list past fleets? I know on the Pan Am historical site, they give all the info plus all the Clipper names. I'm sure that there probably is nothing as extensive with other carriers, but I certainly appreciate any leads any of you can give me. Also any good airline historical sites?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Thanks,

Tbear

As far as I know, http://www.jetphotos.net is fairly good for this type of thing

On their homepage, just go to their jetliner database, it has some info on alot of Airlines current aircraft and soon to be deliever, delivery dates, rego's, and interesting stuff like that.

Have fun!

The jetphotos.net database hasn't been updated for like half a year, so try http://www.aerotransport.org/, it's gotta be the best online database available. The downside is that you have to pay to have a full access subscription. However, if you don't want to pay, you can still make a certain number of queries per week, with the only restriction being the most recent updates.

Try this...
http://www.geocities.com/~aeromoe/fleets
It lists all the US-based carriers fleet, past & present, up until mid-1999. It includes all aircrafts ever operated from the DC-3 up. Also I know of a website that list most major global carriers for the year 1961. I'll see if I can that link for anyone who interested. Regards.

They keep saying they're about to update the a/c census on jetphotos.net, but that was about 6 weeks ago when I last inquired.

I know if you go to the Boeing website under delivery reports it lists all Boeing aircraft sent to all airlines including way back to the 707 era.

Here's that link to a webpage that shows what most global carriers were operating in 1961. Enjoy, and regards.  Wink/being sarcastic
