As I cannot search the forums anymore for the active thread we had going, I wanted to discuss Ryanairs comments that without the subsidies, they are going to pull out of France all together, because in their words "If we lose the marketing agreements we will no longer be able to operate as a low-cost airline serving French airports and so there will be no point going there. We will have to pull out"
Maybe I am missing something, but if they cannot offer low fares without the subsidy, and so much so that they will pull out of 18 airports because of lost subsidy, then I agree completely with Air France etc that Ryanair is being given an unfair advantage.
