NW, UA, And AW A320s In Boise. What Happened?

I was wondering what had happened to the UA A320s that they used to bring in from Chicago, because I thought I saw one the other day. I remember the first time I saw them, it was early morning. Do they still do those flights? I am pretty sure they were A320s, not A319s

What is going on with Northwest A320s? I have seen tons of pictures, not on, of A320s in Boise at different time periods, when the schedule says A319 service only. I also flew on one at a really early morning flight, but I never saw it on the schedule. Do they go on and off?

When America West first started service in Boise, I saw a lot of A320s(A319s?) come in. Then they stopped, but I could've sworn passing by the Airport terminal I saw one, and I know I saw one taking off.

Any info on the status of these flights would be good.

Hi IloveBOI-- I worked in BOI for United as a CSR 1994-1996...all we ever had were 732s, 733s, and 722s. We operated A320s ORDBOI, and DENBOI last year. I've flown ORD-BOI a lot in the last seven years, and the 'bus is much more comfortable than the 733 for the 3:30 flight.

I've seen NW 319s at BOI the last several times I've been through, but never any 'buses for America West.

I've always had the feeling that airline execs consider BOI to be a "second tier" airport, and therefore doesn't get many of the new jets. Maybe I'm wrong!

What do you do in BOI?

Tallguy14, I'm only 14, so I don't work at BOI, but I love the airport, and I go there frequently. Thank you for the info. Btw you wouldn't happen to know why they stopped, if they did?

I show 2 "buses" from MSP on NW....UA is all 73's and CRJ's..BOI is prime for 73's for HP, but I bet you start getting CR9's once there are enough in the fleet. The A320/319 is a better long rang plane. So with the bulk of BOI traffic from the west coast, it easier to throw a 737 or CRJ on the route and use the A320/319 for trans-con
