Will The A380 Operate Along With The 747?

Thu Sep 04, 2003 5:34 am

Even though the 747 will more than likely still be widely used a cargo plane for a few more years, will airlines still operate passenger 747s and A380s even though the A380 claims to be "superior?"

There will always be a 400-500 seat market where a new version of the 747 can do well.

Probably even more aircraft then the 500+ seat market where the A380 will dominate.

LH, KE, AF, VS, SQ, MH and QF will probably all continue to operate their 744s well after the arrival of their A380s.
