Air Club

Well they simply shut it down, to remain competetive they were going to have to grow which was something they didn't not want to do. They wanted to keep it small and they were also having a very hard time against the likes of Canada 3000 and Air Transat. The winter market was not doing so good for them and they were not wanting to lease smaller aircraft(320s or 737) they wanted to keep the A310. Basically that's the reasons they gave us( i was there). I think it was just a quick venture to see if they could make a go of it and it didn't work. There was just too many seats out there and they were the litte guy at the time, not to mention some awful delays with those 747s(mechanical).
