was discontinued immediately after the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks and it stayed grounded as a result of the SARS problem during the winter/spring of 2003. My guess is that if SARS does not come back this fall/winter, the route will resume, on a nonstop basis, with a 747-400 or an A340 before too long. Continental restarted the EWR
route four times a week and despite SARS and the general climate in the industry, CO
insists it is a profitable route.
