The ATR 42 is nice but only the -500 series, I flew a lot on this aircraft and I enjoyed every single flight.

Saab 340B. When I worked for American Eagle we had these planes flying to JFK and BOS. They drove me nuts at times but I still like them the best.

I'm with CanyonBlue. The Saab 340s a beautiful aircraft. I've flown it many times with Mesaba Airlines and enjoyed almost all my flights on them.

I thought the Beech 1900 were pretty cool on approach into MIA from FPO!

I always wanted to fly the British Aerospace ATP.

I think we should pay more attention to new Russian aircrafts.

I've only flown on the ATR-72. I liked it, but I've always liked the look of the Dornier 328Jet.

Well I would say after flying them many times I am quite pleased with the DHC Dash 8, An overall nice aircraft in my opinion...
Always seem to have an enjoyable flight when I'm travelling aboard the Dash 8, and always seems to put me in a good mood when I travel on these birds  Smile/happy/getting dizzy...

I've flown Horizon Airline's Q-400 aircraft on both its SEA-PDX shuttle and the SEA-GEG shuttle. It's a sweet, sweet ride.  Big grin

1-Dornier 328
2-Dash 8-300
3-ATR 42-500
4-Saab 340
5-EMB-120

Just put me on any modern airliner and i will be happy, give me more star alliance miles and i will be a lot more happy.

I have always loved the Dash-8. Really sweet bird.

It's really sad to see planes like this...

I agree the Dornier 328 is a great prop. I've flown it on US Air Express PIT-DAY and PIT-IAD. Lots of leg room.

would someone care to briefly give a comparison between the ATR 42 and the Dash 8-300?

which one performs better? and any other details would be appreciated.

Hey,

Hmmm... it's a tough call between my two favorites the Dash-Q-400 and the ATR-72... I guess I'm going with the ATR though. On the other hand, which do you think has better economics ?

Definatly the Dash 8, it looks the best, and too bad US Airways is replacing them soon.
