Hijacked Cubana AN24- On Ebay

Sun Sep 07, 2003 5:40 am

Check it out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2430524434&category=26428

Specifically noted that you are getting a highjacked aircraft.

Me? I would not trust title, especially if I took it outside the Estados Unidos; wonder if any arrangement has been reached with the Cuban government?

I guess the "Dead-beat bidder" it mentions finally realized he was making a mistake buying a worthless piece of aluminum that would land him not on a runway but in jail.

With a current bid of only $30k, it seems like a wise choice for flight schools wanting to start a multiengine program  Big thumbs up  Big grin

Is this normal? Does Cuba do the same when an American plane is highjacked and taken to Cuba or has to make an emergency diversion? Would be interesting to say what people want to give for a AA 777. Big grin

Hence, my question about the state of title for the aircraft...

...maybe someone who reads and posts here knows the details?

I'd post an inquiry to the seller, but since I am absolutely not in the market for a fifty-passenger turboprop airliner, I'd be wasting someone's time.
