Status Of DL's Fleet Livery Change

Mon Sep 08, 2003 10:39 pm

Can someone please tell me how many a/c are flying in the old Delta "Widget" colors? I suppose that most of the fleet is flying around in the new colors, but am wondering how many a/c are left in the old scheme (not the '97 scheme).
Thanks

I still see some MD-80s/90s coming into MCO with the old widget colors

I've only been keeping track of the 757's and there are two. N647DL which I belive is slated to go Song and N900PC which is not. Saw I belive N687DL last night in the middle livery with black nose and looked pretty ratty.

I flew 647DL DCA-SLC back in June and that bird looked really ratty.

Yesterday I saw a 767 with the old colors at MIA.

Pretty nice...

I flew from DFW to BOS on N912DE (an MD-88) Tuesday morning (07-SEP-2003) in the widget livery -- there were at least three widget MD-88's at DFW that morning. I believe there was also a widget 737-300 there as well.

I also think a lot of the MD-90's are in the old "widget" colors.

my mom's plane yesterday (sorry, didn't get the tail number... didn't get a pad until AFTER the CVG flight came in next to her gate!) was a 763 in old old widget scheme. it was also dirty, very dirty... it had a white nosecone which obvously means it's up for painting soon!

Do a search of this frequent question and you will find your answer. The numbers haven't changed in the last two weeks.
