As it was confirmed by the JAT Airways media centre, in Belgrade, the airline will resume direct flights to New York starting September 14th. JAT Airways, in cooperation with Uzbekistan Airways, will operate the route two times weekly. The Boeing 767-300 is configured with 204 seats in three classes.
Departures from Belgrade are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays, while departures from New York are planned on Mondays and Fridays. Economy class tickets start at 450 USD, while first class tickets start at 1.090 USD.
In addition to the New York flights, JAT has announced plans to expand its flight network to a few more destinations: Sarajevo and Ohrid. Flights to Sarajevo will be the first added, with five weekly flights destined to begin on September 25th. Flights to Ohrid is expected to begin in the last week of October, most likely once weekly.
