CX Announces Load Factors For August

CX have announced that Passenger carried have risen 24% comparing with the passengers carried in July, but have dropped 5.3% comparing to the same period last year.

The carrier carried 1 million and 8 thousand passengers in August.

Load factors rose 3.2% comparing to last year however, due to the continuing suspension of around 10% of CX's flights in August. Profit margin has also dropped quite significantly due to the large discounts on air-fares.

On another hand, CX Cargo carried 70452 tonnes of cargo, a 5.1% drop comapring to last year.

Overall, you have to praise CX for their effective crisis management. They have pulled through relatively unharmed after horrible operating conditions. Congratulations for all CX employees for their hard work!
