B777s have been opertaing the SIN
route for a few months already. It may revert back to the B744 in October. Although the loads are high the yields are low so a decision has yet to be made. If it does revert back to the B744 you may see the B777s redeployed on the SIN
series B777s have the fuel capacity to operate the route but they do not have the higher certified take-off weight required. They also do not have horizontal crew rest which is required on both the trans-pac sectors.
In case anyones interested SIA Cargo will be adding Kuwait to their list of destinations. Flights will continue on to either Amsterdam or Brussels.
