0000 Vs 2400 On Amadeus.net

Sun Sep 14, 2003 5:42 am

Looking up schedules on amadeus.net has become a little confusing. They seem to have stopped using 00hrs for departures after midnight. Instead, they have replaced 00hrs with 24hrs...

...now I'm getting a little confused.

If my flight leaves at 2415 as published on amadeus.net on 15th Sept say - does that mean it leaves on the night of 14th Sept or the night of 15th Sept?

My gues would be that 2415 on 15th sept actually is 0015 on september 16th.
Just a guess based on the logical theorie of the 24h timesystem.

The 'flight' in question doesn't land at any time - it was just an example. My point was that does this not just create confusion. I wonder why the change was made - may e-mail amadeus about this...
