will be operating more 738's out of DFW
starting in 2004.
This is all due to the re-alignment of AA
's fleet with the 757's and A300's being converted back into standard configuration (no more More Room Through Coach). The A300's will pretty much remain on the leisure routes they have been serving. The 757's will be deployed on more leisure rooms, both domestically and more Carribean routes. Most 738's will be pulled out of SJU
and off leisure routes. Current business routes out of DFW
, etc that are operated with 757's will be replaced with the 738's which still offer MRTC. This is a large generalization, but yes more 738's will be coming through DFW
on the higher yield routes that currently have 757's. Also, as the F-100's are retired, they will be pulled out of DFW
and the last of the F-100's will be based out of ORD
will begin to see the CRJ-700's in 2004.
