The Super Guppy has always been a Boeing. In essence, they are converted Boeing Stratocruisers. Conversions were carried out by Aero Spacelines (US). Two of their Guppy 201s were sold to Airbus, and UTA in France later converted two more for Airbus. The planes have now been replaced with the A300-600ST Beluga.

Didn't know that the Super-Guppy had been produced from Boeing.
So Airbus was Boeing-Client? And Boeing helped Airbus to produce their planes (indirect)? Cool partnership

The Guppy itself was not a Boeing design, but the platform was (Boeing 377 Stratocruiser) Aero Spacelines made it into the Guppy. Boeing had nothing to do with that part. Still, in essence, the Guppy is a Boeing.
