Ahh, Freedom Airlines is operating the CRJ700 for United Express. I hope that UAL doesn't mind taking some maintenance delays. I know that the Freedom Airlines CRJ700s that fly into OMA
have maintenance issues all the time. From sources inside AWA, that is a big reason why they decided not to increase the number of sub-contracted regional jets, due to the unreliability of the CRJ700.
Of course I do find it funny that UAL has signed a new contract with Mesa. I remember a few years back when Mesa was a UAL Express carrier, and the service was so terrible that UAL cancelled the contract. Obviously, United has not learned from its mistakes, and are now in the position to repeat them.
