Does look pretty cool, I know SKYWEST wants to start COS-SFO service with the 70 seater.

COS-SFO would be absolutely amazing.

I believe the COS-LAX route is doing very well.

UAX has gone a long way towards improving nonstop service from COS. I'm not sure the CRJ has range for COS-IAD but that'd be even more special.

Ahh, Freedom Airlines is operating the CRJ700 for United Express. I hope that UAL doesn't mind taking some maintenance delays. I know that the Freedom Airlines CRJ700s that fly into OMA have maintenance issues all the time. From sources inside AWA, that is a big reason why they decided not to increase the number of sub-contracted regional jets, due to the unreliability of the CRJ700.

Of course I do find it funny that UAL has signed a new contract with Mesa. I remember a few years back when Mesa was a UAL Express carrier, and the service was so terrible that UAL cancelled the contract. Obviously, United has not learned from its mistakes, and are now in the position to repeat them.

The issue is not with the CR7...it's the way Mesa maintains them.
ASA, Comair, and Lufthansa don't seem to have any issues with their maintenance..and have all placed follow on orders....

Greg,

Thanks for mentioning that about the Mesa maintenance issues. Yes, other airlines use the CRJ700 with great efficiency.

The new plane is on the LAX-PDX and LAX-PHX routes.

I believe also ONT-DEN.

Not sure of the others routes.

I'm with Greg and Lou, and I hadn't read their posts yet. That pic looks fake.

HP has decided to stop CRJ700 flying...they will now concentrate on CRJ900 only and have asked Mesa/Freedom to order more 900s. HP also plans to add more mainline flights and will take delivery of two A320s this year and plans to cancel the A318.....

Hey Prinair...where did you hear about HP cancelling the A318 order? Just curious....maybe we will get a new fleet type instead. We are having "Town Hall" meetings with our CEO, this would make a great question!
