The picture in the first post is the first -700 equipped with winglets for Aloha. We will be retrofitting the others to have 4 finished by the end of the year, and all the current aircraft finished by this time next year. And, ofcourse, all future new a/c will come with winglets as well. It was announced a couple of months ago to us that this was going to happen.
Aloha currently fly's the -700 from
HNL,
OGG, and KOA to cities on the west coast.....
YVR,
OAK,
BUR,
SNA,
PHX,
LAS,
SMF,
RNO, and more to come.
AQ currently has 10 (I think) -700's and has a current business plan to have 20 in the fleet in the next few years. The airplane is doing very well for us.....management tells us that on average, 70 seats sold breaks even. Not bad. With the winglets installed, fuel savings should be around 106,000 gallons per airplane, per year.
