Delta Swapped To MD80 From MD90 To LAX Tonight

Fri Sep 26, 2003 12:53 pm

I just found out that Delta 845 DFW-LAX is supposed be on MD-90 and some problem with that plane and Delta gets swapped equipment to MD-80 heading to LAX right now. I'm sorry, I just found out that Delta MD-80 will fly back red eye night to DFW. I wish one of the LAX spotter take picture rare of Delta MD-80 tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, it is too dark layover for a few hours in LAX tonight later.

Go MD-88's! Worth the shot out there anyways. I'll bet, if it's a different crew, they're happy as hell to be out this late....not!  Big grin

Go Delta,

MD-88s are nice, but i hate that Delta flies them on longer flights because of the lack of IFE. I love the MD-90 for flights like SEA, PDX and BOS.

I agree Deltaffindfw, I hate the fact that DL has the MD-88's on the PHX-ATL & CVG flights. Four hours is a "LONG" time without the IFE, bring back the 757/767's to PHX!!!

I didn't think that DL used the M90 to PDX... I sure miss flying it SLC-SAT, though - nice ride!  Smile

Dude, small world!

That was me in the right seat this evening on flt 845! The flight attendants take a nap in the crew lounge and fly the red-eye back to DFW at 1am or so.

I think it was supposed to be a 90 this evening though.
