Early Retirement For Some Ryanair 732s

Sun Sep 28, 2003 3:22 am

RYANAIR is accelerating retirement of 7-9 of 21 737-200s to early 2004
because of scratches found on fuselage skins from "inappropriate procedures
during painting;" it is leasing two 737-800s (29883/33003) from Excel,
737-200 (20912) from European Aviation and two 737-300s (TBA) in interim to
receiving 15 737-800s over next six months.

hmm at least they're safety conscious.
