YYZ Oct.1 Concord Meeting Place

Sun Sep 28, 2003 11:50 pm

To all:

I was thinking that we should have a formal meeting place for this big event. I will assume that there are a lot of new faces showing up and i am sure people will get lost in a crowd. So I was thinking if we meet at Threshold Aviation http://www.thresholdaviation.com/shop/asp/about.asp here is a map on how to get there. It is on the corner of Derry and Torbram rd. if you are on Derry you must turn north on Torbram and enter the first driveway on the West Side, then once in the parking lot turn north again and head for the second building, so its the north building of the two on the conrner. Oh by the way if you you will be right by the Airport Strip club, so if you see that you are in the right spot!! Otherwise if you are out and about, just say hi to a bunch of guys with camera's and scanners!

I am looking forward to a lot of new faces and lets hope that the concord will not be the last time you come out to YYZ!

Nah, let's meet somewhere else! It's going to be hard to formalize a meeting spot because different people will come at different times. Threshold can be an informal meeting place, and emails can be used to set up other meeting places. I know I'll be up at T1 for the Concorde.

ok well, T1 is good for me, im supposed to pick someone else up there. If 23/05 is in use we'll probably head out that way, otherwise we might stay put. Ill see next Wednesday  Big grin

I'm going to be in the best photographic position for the arrival, not T1, no chance of seeing it up close from there... and if it does use 33R, the sun will be in our face...

You can park in the garage or take the elevator to the 8th floor, and then just walk up the stairs....
