Interesting topic. I myself feel a certain "loyalty", fi you will, to two Canadian Airports, YVR
International (I grew up in West Van, and my family was a CP
one). Spent many a happy time at YVR
, planespotting, etc. It is in many ways my "home" base airport. I am thrilled to see YVR
"come of age" with its
beautiful new international and U.S. terminal, plus the wonderful re-design of the domestic arrivals/departures area. I always feel as if I am coming home whenever I land at YVR
. I especially love the Asian theme and artwork in the centre atrium on the international departures level.
's Pearson International, as our family relocated to YYZ
, and again I have spent many a happy day there, both planespotting and venturing off from T1 and T2
on many journeys. As with YVR
, I am very pleased and proud with the design and beauty of Pearson's T1-New. It will be a wonderful port of entry for those visiting Toronto for the first time, and will no doubt leave quite a positive impression upon these arriving and departing pax.
