DL 732 Livery Variations

Tue Sep 30, 2003 4:56 pm

When I was back home this weekend, I dropped by MSP and was floored (in a great way) when I saw a Delta 737-200 in the old widget scheme. The only thing is the titles at the front were with a new widget while on the tail there was the old widget:

I was going down Post Rd. and couldn't get a great look, but I thought that this one had the new widget on the engines too. I must say that this plane looked very clean and respectable. Delta should be proud to have these still flying and looking so great. It is nice to see some 732s coming back...

Good to know they are in good shape...I'll be flying one on January 1st, 2004 as part of a three-flight trip on DL:

DTW-CVG Comair CR4
CVG-ATL Delta 73S
ATL-SAV Comair CRJ

leave DTW 7 pm arrive back to SAV at 12:30 AM...long trip

My trip from SAV to DTW (via ATL) on Decmber 20th will be my first time at ATL and my first time on Delta... probably first of a few since I just moved to Savannah and now that DL and NW are partnered up, I can get World Perks Miles (of which I have about 30,000) for flying on Delta  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

If you are taking the 11:30pm ATL - SAV that is operated with ASA not Comair.

Actually I'm wrong, looks like you are indeed right and Comair is indeed taking the ATL - SAV away from us....Sorry
