First Class On Sun Country

Wed Oct 01, 2003 10:30 am

I am sorry if this has been discussed before, but I was wondering what Sun Country's first class section is like. I know they have first class because that is what there website (www.suncountry.com) says. However they give no description of the services they offer in first class.

I've never flown in first class on Sun Country but I have flown them in coach. Their new Boeing 737-800s are very nice with leather seats and audio in both classes. The planes have 160 coach seats and 8 first class seats.

The biggest advantage (I think) of Sun Country is their service. The times I've flown them their flight attendants have been very friendly and professional. Even when I flew them in December of 2001, before they temporarily suspended operations, their staff was great. These employees knew that their jobs were for sure going to be lost the next week but continued with great service (and all smiles).

I work with sun country airlines and must say that the first class service is worth the cost. If you arrive at the airport and there is first class avaliable, you can upgrade your ticket for only 75.00 to sit in first class. At one point they where offering chicken pot pies, cookies, jello with fruit, and drinks for the first class person's. I know for a fact, by sitting in the aircraft, that the first class seats are well worth the price and give you a lot of room to relax. I definitly recommend it if you plan on traveling for over 2 hours in the aircraft but for short flights to Denver, save your money.
