Aarrrggh! In UK Want To Reserve W/ Ebookers?

I am going apeshit trying to book a simple LHR-IST-LHR 1 week trip with Ebookers. I have booked with them in the past without any problems, but today I've had payment rejected emails and when I ring to sort it out the call center agents (who sound and seem to be in India or some place like that) they are just making things worse. Now I dont even know if I have been able to reserve the flights. I find it easier to deal with computers than i do with humans!!!!!!  Angry

Why do humans have to get involved!?????

When I book a flight with LH I get the possibility to check that a ticket has been issued for me. What about your Airline ?

Check that you had the required credit to pay for the tickets; a common problem is that people sometimes book flights without actually being able to afford it.

Regarding the call-centre - yes, it's located in India and yes, they are hopeless - you need enormous patience; they don't handle problems well.

Most call centers are in India, but when you demand to speak to someone in Uk, by law they have to xfer you to UK

Had problems with FEDEX, and was xfered to Coventry to deal with situation

Good luck, next time try expedia, their ctr still in glasgow, very friendly scottish accent

PS: i am not endorsing expedia in any sort

Well, I originally booked online, got a rejection email, rang up to find out why & was then told a system problem (i have funds), then they tried to rebook for me and that came to more, so i asked them to try checking Autrian airlines which worked out cheeper, she booked it for me and said i would need to cancel the other one by email and approve the one she booked over the phone for me. in the meantime i found a better flight with LH again and booked online, meanwhile i got another rejection email and also the call center person's email confirming booking with Austrian...Confused yet?

So I replied cancelling both the original LH booking and also the one she booked over phone with Austrian, & instead advising that they go ahead and book the last flights I booked on ebookers online. So far I havent received any more emails and no phone calls.
I am currently on the phone trying to find out whats happening and am on hold
