MH 11x Weekly To Shangai

Wed Oct 01, 2003 9:33 pm

Effective 1 october, Malaysia Airlines (MH) will increase its nonstop service from KUL to SHA (PVG) from 9 to 11 flights a week. I believe with B772.

With current load factor of 93%. MASkargo also will increase its nonstop service to Shangai from 2 to 6 a week.

Other news.
Philippine Airlines will resume nonstop service from Manila to Kuala Lumpur on 26Oct03. PAL will operate 4 flights a week (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun) with a Boeing 737.

Hopefully, they will restore their flights to pre-SARS level of 14 weekly flights, but 93% load factor is awfully impressive.

Yea 93% load factor is impressive.

Today report said MH enjoys an average 75% load factor for all international flights (post sars). It’s confirmed MH will introduce the online booking facility by the end of this year and the new reservation system to be implemented on the Q1/Q2 2004.
