BA344 05OCT LHR NCE - Go Around?

Mon Oct 06, 2003 4:43 pm

Does anyone at BA know if BA344 yesterday had an aborted approach at NCE yesterday ? It was very windy, I saw a BA 757 on approach over Antibes, lining up for the south-westerly approach, then veer off out to sea. I thought it was going to go around and approach from the North East, but the same (I think) aircraft came back in on the Antibes approach, went back out to sea, and landed from the north east. Seemed a bit odd.
