Where Are CO's 739s Flying?

Thu Oct 09, 2003 7:30 am

The topic of where CO's fleet subtypes are operating seems to be a recurrent favorite, but just out of curiosity, where are the 739s going these days?

Does CO plan to order more? Or are further 739s part of the outstanding 737 order that's been delayed for a couple of years?

Out of IAH we fly them to LAS,CUN,MCO,DTW,EWR,ORD,FLL, BWI out of CLE to LAS, IAH, out of EWR to MCO,FLL,TPA. During the summer months DEN receives a couple from IAH. EWR also runs some to CUN during Spring Break, IAH also runs them to other Mexican destinations during Spring Break as well.

MSY pretty much sees them year-round from IAH, and on some weekends from EWR. Nice aircraft.

Echoing CALMSP's statement. . .

We seem to get quite a few here in Denver from IAH. I had never noticed that it was primarily the summer season. I'll have to keep a closer watch for them this winter.

We've gotten them in TUS many times, though not scheduled that way...they were a swap. We just had one here a couple of weeks ago for a charter. Very nice planes!
