Luv2fly: XY used to spend $11.00/pax for food - back when the wine, pie, cookies, and plates of warm food were complimentary of Midwest. I have not flown them in a while, but they have been selling food (not in a test mode) for a while now, at least since June/July. BTW
Does anyone know the success of Midwest's program of selling food on their flights, especially
because it was such a 180° turn from their historical offering and reputation?
I doubt the ticket price will go down. And definitely a "Song-Beta Mainline Program"
The only negative to the announcement by DL
is they have not given the general category of how the offering would apply, like:
-Domestic flights of 3 hours or more departing between 4:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M.
I would imagine it to be something like that, but don't expect it on your flight from Atlanta to Savannah!
