AA Recalls 390 Flight Attendants, Increase Flights

Fri Oct 10, 2003 7:21 am

AA Will recall 390 Flight Attendants, and will increase flights this winter and spring. I saw it on their website, which I don't know how to post the link.
But it is fresh good news. I would like to see what kind of increase in flights
they are talking about, most likely added flights on current routes.

They are not former TW Crew members. I am sure that MAH4546, can
tell us what increase in flights they are going to have. On another note,
I did see they are starting RDU-NAS 01-02-04.

It is my opinion that AA should try to rehire at least a small percentage of the former TWA staff before rehiring their own personell that were laid off. This is making an extremely unfortunate situation worse. Many lives are being ruined as a result of lost jobs in this negative economy. My prayers go out to any former TWA employees currently jobless. Hopefully AA will rehire some of you in the near future.

I agree that the TW Flight Attendants should return, but they were laid off
in seniority order. Hopefully when it gets to their number, they will be called
back. Only the ones that are senior to them were called back.

I heard that they will have to be based in LGA or STL on the news as well.

I dont understand why you would say they should recall some of the TWA personnel before some of their own? Why, TWA personnel should just be lucky they were bought up rather than just out of a job,
