LH A346 .. Different Engine Colours?

Sat Oct 11, 2003 8:35 am

Hi

please take a look at these photos:

Is it just me or do the two outer engines have white nacelles/cowlings whereas the inner ones are grey?? .. or is it an optical illusion?
It seems logical in respect to the bellyline, but illogical in respect to LH negelcting that issue on all other aircrafts.

The engine nacelles will probably be painted grey before LH commences
passenger service.

I realized this as well and found it strange...
I already posted this here in Reply 23 though:

Well, I wouldn't think that the engine cowlings are painted twice. It looks funny, but why not leave it the way it is?
