Question About Delta 738s

Mon Oct 13, 2003 12:10 pm

I've been on Delta 738s on transcon flights where a few rows in the back left side of the plane had been removed.

I'm not complaining, because it created a nice little area to stand and look out the window and stretch my legs (especially on the narrowbody) -- but with such pressure for yield why would they configure equipment in this manner?

They wanted the aircraft to have less than 150 seats so they could have one less FA, thus saving them $$$.
