KL And MP: More Flights To China

Mon Oct 13, 2003 7:56 pm

KLM and Martinair are allowed to increase frequency and add additional destination to China. This is the result of a new agreement between Holland and China.

KLM will be allowed to increase frequency to PEK to 7 flights a week instead of 5, and add 6 other destinations. Cargo will grow more between AMS and Shanghai.

Martinair will increase frequency to Nanjing from 2 to 7 flights a week and can add 3 additional destinations.

Do Martinair fly to Nanjing? Cargo or pax?

What are KLM's plans for China?

AF are opening CDG-Guangzhou so maybe an AMS-Guangzhou?

Martin Air is using B74F to NKG. So it's only a freighter service.

What 6 other destinations can KLM add? They already have PEK and HKG, the two of the three biggest destinations. PVG and CAN can be considered, but what other 4 cities can support service to AMS?

Maybe Guangzhou, seeing that Air France now flies there.
